John Nalli, right, president of new staffing service Peoplesource, with vp Peter Coelho, at the opening of its first branch in Mississauga. "We identify, train and develop (applicants') skills to better facilitate their goals," Nalli says.

With one office in Mississauga and another opening in Toronto on Dec. 8, Peoplesource intends to shake up the recruitment landscape and change it for the better.

"The recruitment industry has been de-regulated for about a decade and its reputation has suffered," says John Nalli, president and CEO of Peoplesource. "We will bring professionalism and strategic value back to the table."

Peoplesource intends to honour this promise in several ways. To address value, Nalli and his staff use state-of-the-art technology to deliver full service within a streamlined operation.

"This reduces our overhead and the savings are passed on to our clients," Nalli says.

But lower costs will not compromise the Peoplesource commitment to full service. Offering staffing solutions for every area of expertise, Peoplesource also provides various human resource services within a flexible, client-specific framework.

"We offer our applicants full evaluations as well -- we identify, train and develop their skills to better facilitate their goals while providing our clients with a stronger employee overall," Nalli says.

The client, in turn, receives the full attention of Peoplesource so that a clear understanding of their business needs is established and maintained.

"We truly listen to their requirements -- we want to fully appreciate their philosophy of operation and employment so that we can find them exactly what they need to move forward in a competitive environment," Nalli says.

In keeping with a desire to deliver, Nalli's growth plan for 2004 includes three new offices to complement his Mississauga and Toronto branches.

"A business may operate with a head office in Toronto, a manufacturing plant in Mississauga and a sales office in North York," Nalli explains.

"If Peoplesource has offices in each of these communities as well, we can offer consistency -- a familiarity of the client's policies and philosophy as well as their municipal requirements -- which of course, translates to better service."

Nalli himself brings an acute awareness of the Toronto community to his new business.

Born, raised, educated and employed in Toronto, his life's work has been centered in the recruitment industry.

And with anywhere from eight to 25 years of experience in the same business, Nalli's staff is well qualified to lead Peoplesource to the top of their profession.
