The seminar, How to Create Your Million $ Idea, aims to help new entrepreneurs to turn on their brilliant idea light bulbs.
"Millions of Canadians want to be their own boss, but many struggle to come up with a perfect idea for a small business," BizLaunch co-founder Roger Pierce says. "This seminar will help people to find a winning idea that combines personal passion with marketplace opportunity."
Called Bell BizLaunch Seminars, free 90-minute seminars are scheduled for Nov. 8 in Ottawa, Nov. 15 in Montreal and Nov. 22 in Toronto. Presented by small business experts from BizLaunch.ca, they're open to anyone who is thinking about starting a business or getting ready to launch one.
Pierce says the topic is perfect for either category of startup. "A person who is interested in launching a business will learn how to generate that one brilliant idea, and those who have an idea will be able to test its viability," he says.
Sponsored by Bell, the seminar will review hot marketplace trends, identify the best businesses to start up and share reasons why people buy from a small business. Presenters also promise to reveal the secret ingredients of a winning business idea.
"Too many entrepreneurs cook up a business without the proper ingredients needed to make it successful, such as creating a clear competitive advantage," Pierce says. "Missing ingredients can ruin any recipe."
