John Assaraf is an internationally prominent entrepreneur, business coach and author, and a leading figure in the hit personal empowerment film and book, The Secret. He will present a seminar on Oct. 28 as part of The Phenomenal View speaker series.
However, says John Assaraf, the same wisdom applies to every life goal, from making more money to improving your health to cultivating better relationships: long-
established patterns of behaviour are what keep us from
attaining these objectives.
"The conscious part of the brain chooses your goals, but the subconscious controls 95% to 96% of your thought patterns, so unless you impress those goals into the subconscious, chances are you're never going to achieve them," says Assaraf, an internationally prominent entrepreneur, business coach and author, and a leading figure in the hit personal empowerment film and book, The Secret.
Once you have the right knowledge and tools to change your behaviour, Assaraf says, you're on your way to having it all in life.
"It's about changing your mindset from the inside out, changing your perceptions and your behaviours so you achieve your goals, as opposed to just setting them," says Assaraf, who's the author of the New York Times bestseller Having It All, and most recently, creator of The Complete Vision Board Kit, a tool for harnessing the power of intention and visualization.
Those focused on professional and personal development will get the opportunity to learn about Assaraf's innovative techniques for tapping into their inner genius at his Oct. 28 motivational seminar in Caledon, Ont.
The last instalment of the four-part speaker series The Phenomenal View, the daylong event will include information on cutting-edge brain research that illustrates why desire alone isn't enough to achieve success.
Assaraf will share his strategies for using this data to transform your beliefs about your potential in order to achieve more in your life.
"Several years ago, we created the neural reconditioning process to train the brain through affirmation, meditation, technology, and auditory and visual stimulation to access the subconscious part of the brain," Assaraf says.
Everything from one's health to income level to relationships can be improved through this process, Assaraf says.
Personally, Assaraf has used the technique to generate substantial funding to take a company public on the NASDAQ stock exchange.
"In three months, we raised $28 million, and the majority of that money came from people we didn't know. We had a great idea and we all believed we could do it, and it worked," he says.
Assaraf says that his talk will not just provide valuable information, but practical strategies people can use to turn that knowledge into action.
"Anyone can learn information, but information on its own is a waste of time. It's really about application of the information. You have to help people change their habits over the long term," he says.
Assaraf's seminar, which costs $249, will take place at Caledon's Royal Ambassador Event Centre, which is situated on a 55-acre
natural setting on Innis Lake.
