Phenomenal View speaker series

Motivational speeches are all well and good -- it's what you do with the information and insights afterwards that matters most.

That's the guiding principal behind The Phenomenal View, a unique world-class motivational speaker series featuring full-day events being held over several months.

"We felt it was important that people have an opportunity to take part in a full-day event, and have time to apply it to their lives before attending another event," says founder and co-organizer Gail James.

The four-part series (www.phe nomenalview.com) kicks off on April 15 with Jack Canfield, acclaimed success coach and co-creator of the highly successful Chicken Soup for the Soul book series and The Success Principals, systematically guiding participants on how to achieve their potential in their careers, for their companies and in their personal lives. Running from 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., the event will offer the methods, strategies, activities and exercises Canfield recommends for people to achieve their goals.

On June 18, Mike Lipkin, bestselling author and president of motivational and sales empowerment firn of Environics/Lipkin, will discuss excelling at sales and service by becoming a symbol of superior performance that sets the benchmark by which all others are judged. Lipkin will inspire and empower audience members to pursue pre-eminence in every aspect of their professional and personal lives and help them address the main challenges they need to overcome.

PERSONAL BEST

Lisa Nichols, a personal empowerment expert and a star in the hit film and book The Secret, will be on hand on Sept. 17 to challenge and encourage participants to become their personal best. Nichols will demonstrate to individuals how to summon the courage and faith to find and liberate their inner champions and live their best life.

The series concludes on Oct. 28 with internationally renowned entrepreneur, speaker and author John Assaraf engaging the audience with cutting-edge brain research that will positively transform their perceptions and beliefs about what they can achieve. The author of Having It All: Achieving Your Life's Goals And Dreams and a featured expert in the film and book The Secret will teach some remarkable brain tricks that people can use to tap their inner genius.

Everyone from CEOs to managers to people just establishing their careers to those interested in personal development would benefit from participating in this series, James says. She also encourages company owners to consider sponsoring their employees' participation in the series.

Q & A TIME

"You have to succeed in your personal life to succeed in your business life, and vice versa. Companies that send their employees to The Phenomenal View will be investing in both of those areas," James says.

The series costs $799 for individuals, and $749 for those who join as part of a group of eight or more. Each event includes Q & A time with the speaker, time to network with peers, a speaker book-signing session and complimentary lunch. Parking is also included in the registration fee.

As well, at no extra charge, participants may enter a draw to win a lunch date with one of the speakers.

"This is not something that is offered by any other event company and it is at no additional cost to the participant," James says. "Generally, events charge a substantial premium for VIP opportunities."

The speaker series takes place at the Royal Ambassador Event Centre in Caledon, which is located in an expansive nature-rich area on Innis Lake, providing an ideal backdrop for life-changing learning, James says.

"Our theme is, 'Change your thinking, Change your behaviour, Change your life,'" James says. "The Phenomenal View is all about building awareness, offering valuable information, creating excitement, and giving people time and resources to actually apply what they've learned to their lives."
