Love it or lose it!Can you imagine waking up every morning happy and excited about going to work? It may be hard to believe but some people really do like what they do. They are actually in love with their job. When you think about it, it's actually amazing how much being in love with your job can be like being in love with a person. The Etiquette Ladies |

We're in love with the job, or at least we think so, and we're happy to ignore all the little things that drive us crazy. Maybe we don't get as much attention as we thought we would, maybe it's a little more demanding than we expected, maybe it's just not as much fun as when we started out.
When things are going well, we maybe get too comfortable; take things for granted, show up a little late, forget the occasional important date or dress a little too casually. And then when the romance totally fades, we lose sleep worrying about it. We try to talk ourselves into staying even though we know it's not working. Maybe we cheat a little and look for something better on the side all the while trying to figure out how to break up with the job before we get dumped.
See, love and work are a lot alike.
Are you still in love with your job? If not, maybe it's time to consider losing it. It will be tough at first, but you will survive. The truth is the work might be better off without you too. Even Oprah and Dr. Phil will tell you, the only way to stay healthy is to life the live you love and unless you are Oprah or Dr. Phil that means working it, literally!
