At least that's what 15 Alberta companies seeking out skilled labour are banking on after advertising at a job fair yesterday in the western German city of Essen, with another scheduled for tomorrow in Berlin.

The initiative should net the province about 2,000 applicants, said Terry Jorden of Alberta Employment, Immigration and Industry.
