Taking place March 4 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, the all-day event will feature talks by leaders on subjects such as strategic thinking, stress management, motivation and overcoming adversity.

Who better to talk about leadership and motivation than one of the leaders of the feminist revolution, Gloria Steinem? The activist, writer and co-founder of MS. magazine will inspire female executives with strategies and real-life examples to overcome business challenges and break the glass ceiling in the corporate world.

Strategic thinking will be tackled by Chin-Ning Chu, a sales and marketing expert and business and political consultant who applies the principles from Sun Tzu's classic military strategy book The Art of War to help government and corporate leaders worldwide.

Achieving success will be discussed by Jeannette Walls, a columnist for New York Magazine and MSNBC.com. She will share personal stories of overcoming her childhood of extreme poverty and neglectful parents to demonstrate how to overcome life's hurdles.

Supermodel Petra Nemcova will discuss the power of overcoming adversity through positive thinking. It's a power that has served her well since she survived the devastating 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, and one that she says can help improve our lives.

What also makes our lives better is managing our stress, something humourist and motivational speaker Loretta LaRoche will deal with in her light-hearted, enlightening workshop about reframing our thoughts, celebrating life and using reverence to get through life.

Emmy-nominated and Golden Globe Award-winning actress Teri Hatcher will be on hand to inspire attendees on how to achieve their dreams. The Desperate Housewives star will draw on her own life experiences to demonstrate how to achieve your personal and professional goals.

Making the connection between health and performance will be Dr. Mehmet Oz, a cardiothoracic surgeon and regular contributor on The Oprah Winfrey Show. Oz will lay out the effects of North Americans' failing health on the workplace and national productivity.

Revealing the secrets of successful women investors will be Jean Chatzky, bestselling author of Make Money, Not Excuses and the financial editor of NBC's Today Show. Personal finance, getting out of debt and planning for retirement will be addressed.

Finally, finance and money will be covered by Judy Sharma, a top educator for a billion-dollar publicly traded company that helps people master the tools and technology of financial success and independence.
